How much does a custom cake cost in Asheville?
A 6-inch celebration cake starts at $65 and serves 8 to 10. An 8-inch is $95 and serves 16 to 20. Two-tier cakes start at $210 and three-tier wedding cakes start at $520. Sugar flowers, hand-painting and gold leaf are quoted separately.
How far in advance should I order a wedding cake?
Book 8 weeks ahead for wedding cakes and 6 months for Saturdays between May and October, which are the busiest wedding dates in Asheville. Standard celebration cakes need 7 days.
Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes. Wedding tastings are held Thursday afternoons at the Haywood Road bakery, cost $35 for two people, and that fee is credited against your order.
Can you make a gluten-free or dairy-free custom cake?
We make gluten-free custom cakes every week and dairy-free on request. Our kitchen handles wheat and dairy daily, so we cannot guarantee a coeliac-safe environment.
Do you deliver cakes in Asheville?
Delivery is $25 within Asheville city limits and $2 per mile beyond, covering Weaverville, Black Mountain, Fletcher and Hendersonville. Tiered wedding cakes are always delivered and assembled by us.
